The Amargue Flow Leaders: ace fusion (CEO) & Heidi Vique

Embark on a dance journey like no other. This series doesn’t stop at just Bachata — you’ll explore the cultural heartbeat of the Dominican Republic and Haiti through Kompa, Gaga, Son, Bolero, Merengue (solo & partner), and Bachata.

What to Expect:

• Roots & Culture: Discover the history, instruments, and stories behind each dance style.
• Fundamental Movement: Learn body techniques, footwork, timing, and how to interpret rhythms.
• Connection Over Patterns: Instead of memorizing moves, you’ll learn to feel and flow, becoming a confident, intuitive social dancer.
• Lead & Follow Fluency: Rotate through both roles to deepen connection and communication on the dance floor.
• Bilingual Instruction: Classes taught in both English & Spanish.
• All Levels Welcome: From absolute beginners to experienced dancers, everyone grows together.

More Than Just Dance
When you join this series, you’re also joining a community. Together, we’ll engage in volunteering, team-building, and shared experiences that go beyond the studio—strengthening our connection to each other and the cultures we honor through dance.

Practice your new skills in real time at our bi-weekly Monday socials at El Coro Batey in Queens, a vibrant space where dance, music, and community come alive. Plus, enjoy improvisation labs, musicality drills, and supportive feedback sessions in class.
