Join us for a series like you have never experienced before. Dive into the roots, culture & history of Bachata. Learn and explore the music, fundamentals, foundations and body movement. Learn the secrets to becoming a well rounded social dancer (without memorizing patterns). You will improve your connection with your partner by being exposed to both the lead and follow roles in social dancing. All while having fun in an intimate, safe and inclusive environment for all. Taught in both English & Spanish, this series has something for dancers of all levels; from the absolute beginner to the intermediate or advanced dancer.

  • The Beginner Bachata Guide: The roots, foundation & Amargue Flow Secrets

    Level 1 beginner. (0–1-years of Bachata experience) Highly recommended for students who are thinking about becoming instructors, and students who want to clean up their Bachata fundamentals.

    This course includes:

    -Bachata History
    -The Instruments of Bachata music
    -3 Segments of Bachata
    -Fundamental body movement
    -Fundamental Footwork
    -Secrets to creating your own PURO flow
    -Q/A sessions & social dance practice sessions

  • Beginner Partnerwork: Studio meets the streets

    Level 1 beginner. (0–1-years of Bachata experience) Highly recommended for students who are thinking about becoming instructors, and students who are new to partnerwork or want to clean up their partner work skills.

    This course includes:

    -History of partner dancing
    -Framework
    -Partnerwork Fundamental drills
    -Traditional meets Modern (Studio meets the Streets)
    -Leading/Following/Switching Roles/Understanding both roles
    -Secrets to creating your own PURO flow
    -Social dancing secrets

  • Bachata Beyond The Basics: Amargue Flow's Intermediate/Advanced Bachata

    **Prerequisite: Amargue Flow Beginner Bachata Guide Level 1 Course

    Expand and grow your knowledge, skills and fundamentals of Bachata with more intricate and challenging footwork and concepts. Highly recommended for students who are thinking about becoming instructors.

    This course includes:

    -Intermediate Body Movements
    -Slides, Syncopations, Pauses & Turns
    -Traditional meets Modern
    -Finding patterns within the music
    -Leading & Following
    -Master the art of Free-styling in footwork & partnerwork “Ace Fusion Style”
